This course is designed for both beginners and those with some experience who want to deepen their skills. Over the six weeks, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the full lost wax casting process—from initial design and wax carving through to mould making, metal casting, and finishing your own unique pieces.
Here’s a quick overview of what you can expect:
Hands-on instruction in a supportive, small-group environment
All key techniques covered, including wax work, spruing, investing, and casting
Guidance on tools, materials, and safe studio practices.
The opportunity to create and take home your own finished cast pieces!
Course Details:
Duration: 6 weeks (one session per week) Sundays 10.30-2.30
Location: Cowaramup
Cost: $820 Materials included. Metal choice is not included and is at the students discretion at time of casting.
Start date: 28th June 2026 - for 5 Sundays following.

Our shared jewellery studio offers bench hire for jewellers, metalsmiths, and creative makers who want access to a dedicated workspace in an inspiring studio environment. Whether you’re an emerging maker, an established jeweller, or simply need extra bench space, our studio provides a welcoming place to create, experiment, and work alongside other creatives.
With fully equipped benches, shared tools and facilities, and a calm, supportive atmosphere, the studio is designed to help you focus on your craft and feel part of a creative community.

Discover the magic of sand casting in this hands-on weekend jewellery workshop.
Perfect for beginners and makers alike, this immersive two-day course introduces the exciting process of sand casting, where molten metal is transformed into unique and organic jewellery forms. Guided step-by-step, you’ll learn how to create textures, carve forms, prepare moulds, and safely cast your own designs.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll gain practical skills, confidence working with casting techniques, and leave with your own handcrafted pieces and a deeper understanding of jewellery making.
Set in our welcoming studio in Perth, this course offers a creative and supportive environment to learn, experiment, and make.
